CORNEA 2024 – XVI International Symposium on Advances in Corneal Disease Diagnosis and Therapy

From February 29th to March 2nd, 2024, one of the most significant scientific events in Europe dedicated to innovative methods of diagnosing and treating corneal disorders – CORNEA 2024 – took place in Katowice.

During the inaugural session on February 29th, 2024, Professor Dariusz Dobrowolski delivered a lecture entitled: “Bio-printing method as a potential innovative approach to obtain a fibrin scaffold for corneal regeneration.”

We share our experience!

During the 5th “Health of Poles” Congress, held on November 13-14 this year in Kajetany, three projects involving Acellmed were presented:

– Oncology – “Personalized, liposomal therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) based on small inhibitory RNAs” (RPO 1.2 WSL)

– Antiviral – “Antiviral platform for SARS group viruses (including SARS-CoV-2), MERS, and INFLUENZA, targeting virus binding to the ACE2 receptor” (ABM grant)

16 European Public Health Conference #EPH2023

The last day of the 16th European Public Health Conference #EPH2023 is unfortunately almost behind us. It has been a very intense and incredibly inspiring time. The opportunity to meet representatives from the World Health Organization, European Commission, and an international community of researchers, scientists, and practitioners, all focused on one goal: ensuring a better, sustainable future for humanity.

The foundation of our actions as the Acellmed team is to seek answers to the most pressing challenges in public health. Undoubtedly – as clearly seen in the program – COVID-19 remains one of these challenges.
