We share our experience!

During the 5th “Health of Poles” Congress, held on November 13-14 this year in Kajetany, three projects involving Acellmed were presented:

– Oncology – “Personalized, liposomal therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) based on small inhibitory RNAs” (RPO 1.2 WSL)

– Antiviral – “Antiviral platform for SARS group viruses (including SARS-CoV-2), MERS, and INFLUENZA, targeting virus binding to the ACE2 receptor” (ABM grant)

– Ophthalmic – “Biodegradable dressing for corneal reconstruction with limbal stem cells, prepared within the framework of autologous transplantation, using bio-printing and 3D printing” (RPO 1.2 WSL)

We lead these projects as a consortium along with our excellent scientific and clinical partners: Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia, University of Wrocław, University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, and the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.

We believe that in the not-so-distant future, our solutions will enter clinical practice and serve patients well, improving their health and quality of life.
